Haunted: A Paranormal Awakening
In the memoir, Haunted: A Paranormal Awakening, Julie Coons shares how her dream house morphed into a life-threatening nightmare. For most, if not all, of us, a home is synonymous with a place of comfort, peace, and joy. When Julie Coons moved to a beautiful house with her husband and daughter, she hoped to feel an overwhelming warmth wash over her. After her difficult childhood with an abusive mother and a gut-wrenching marriage, she deserved a place to call home sweet home. Instead, she received demonic activities comparable to the most daunting horror movies. While the evil spirits were taunting, scratching, bruising, and filling her brain with unimaginable fear, she found the worst part was going through the whole trepidation alone.
Truth of the Shadows
Truth of the Shadows by Slade Templeton is a psychological thriller/horror fiction that revolves around Dr. Joseph Hoffman. He was a head psychiatrist at Cottage Grove Hospital who relied on logic and his vast knowledge seconded by science. In front of his patients, who talked about furniture moving at its own will, their dead son coming back to be with her, hallucinations of angels, etc., Joseph was the calm and composed psychiatrist who had a logical explanation for their delusional paranoia. However, underneath his confident demeanor resided an ever-consuming guilt and sorrow.
This Last Chance by D.L. Finn
This Last Chance by D.L.Finn presents a delectable combination of thriller and paranormal plots that surround the protagonist, Amber. Ever since Amber’s sister, Iris, was murdered, Amber was looking for answers. On the sixth month anniversary of Iris’s brutal killing, she sensed danger lurking around her. She reported the strange occurrences to the cops and her colleagues, but none of them believed her. Frustrated with a lack of answers, she decided to hire a private detective to at least put a face and a name to Iris’ killer.
BRIGHTNESS by Rob Horner
Years of medical wisdom of Michael Richards could not make sense of what his eight-year-old daughter, Sarah, was saying. At the same time, the father in him wanted to believe her. Especially, when her claim to see darkness and light inside certain people matched with their actions, he could not discard the possibility of truth in her sightings.
Alex McKenna & The Geranium Deaths
Alex McKenna & The Geranium Deaths by Vicki-Ann Bush is a Young Adult – Paranormal fiction. 17-year-old Alex shared his mom’s ability to see the dead. Although his ability caused him grief with the bullies in his school, he learned to ignore the unnecessary noise. This was not the only reason for the bullies to target him, though. Since the day they realized that Alex was a transgender, they figured out creative names to torment him. In addition to these problems, a series of ruthless murders in his town perplexed him. If he didn’t have his amazing spidey sense, he would have discarded these bodies-with-frozen heads as a case involving a serial killer. However, his gut told him otherwise. The more research he put into the cases with his best friend, Margaret, the firmer his suspicion grew at the connection of a dark spirit.
Never Go to Bed Angry – A Blanket Chronicle
Why did I have to have a fight in the middle of the night? Janhvi cursed herself for the eleventh time in the matter of a mere five minutes. Yet, she could not let go of the blanket. If I moved even a finger, they’ll know that I am awake. Then, they’ll certainly make a move. Tightening her already white-knuckled grip on the blanket, she tried to think of a survival strategy.
