A Child Lost by Michelle Cox

After the miscarriage, Henrietta lost her will to engage in daily affairs. In his desperate attempt to bring his wife back to normalcy, Clive accepted a seemingly boring case of an alleged fraud charlatan. The charlatan, a woman who could talk to the departed, as it turned out, impressed Henrietta enough that, much to the dismay of Clive, she ended up believing the woman as a real deal. Unbeknownst to him, Henrietta accepted to help her sister, Elsie, in finding the mother of a little girl, Anna. Surmising both the cases to be undemanding, Clive felt no harm in including a distraught Henrietta.

The Good Stranger

Although Kate was the daughter of a US senator, she had no interest in politics. She left her old job and her boyfriend to be a national news correspondent in New York. So, imagine her disappointment when she had to cover politics in her new job in Manhattan. To add to her misery, her boyfriend broke up with her soon after her move. Earth Angel by Chris Stevenson

Earth Angel by Chris H. Stevenson presents an engrossing concoction of supernatural and thriller genres. Dean was so absorbed in the case involving The Tooth Fairy, a vicious serial killer, that he had lost all sense of his personal life. Every time the news reported another victim, he drowned himself into alcohol. His fiancée, Daryl, tried to control his unruly behavior, but then her own life took a chaotic turn of events after a terrible accident. Fortunately, the doctors found a donor and performed a quick surgery that helped her regain the lost vision of her left eye. However, this gift turned out to be more of a burden when she began spotting strange beings around humans.
