His atrocious actions would have made it easier to despise him. However, his actions stemmed from his deep desire to lay claim to his birthright. He fought harder and nastier because he didn’t want his father to just handover the throne to Jehovah. The resulting wrestling of emotions not only intrigued the readers but also injected a sense of injustice inside of them.
