No matter how excellent my makeup is, I do not feel like it’s complete unless I am, to quote Rihanna, shining bright like a diamond 😉 With NYX promoting their products with such intensity, I thought I must give their liquid highlighters a chance. Hence, entered their Away We Glow into my life! To tell you the truth, my initial response to this product was not very good; however, soon I realized I was not applying enough. If you are blending it too much or applying just a little bit, then you would not get that moonglow. Those were the mistakes that I had made initially and missed out on its excellent performance.
I have AWG01 Liquid Prism shade of NYX Away We Glow. Instead of blabbering away, let me show it to you in action through pictures. By looking at the pictures, you would see the effect that it creates.
4 Things I Love About It
- The natural glow that it produces
- Its applicator is super easy to use.
- It does not require a lot of blending.
- It is very light on the skin. You won’t even feel its presence.
2 Things I Don’t Like Too Much About It
- It is not as long lasting as I would like it to be.
- A lot is required for it to actually produce a decent and noticeable glow.
Would I buy it again? Sure, but not immediately after finishing this one! Sadly, my search for a perfect highlighter continues. If you have any favorites, do share their names so that I can try and share my own opinion on the same.
