I have reviewed The Seller of Secrets – A Memoir by Kathleen Rose Morgan for Reader’s Favorite.
I recently had the pleasure of reading Kathleen Rose Morgan’s The Seller of Secrets – A Memoir, and I must say, it is an incredibly inspiring and empowering read. This book tells the story of Kathleen’s journey from a childhood filled with abuse and trauma to the strong and resilient woman she is today. When the people who are supposed to protect you become the perpetrators of the most heinous crimes imaginable, then a break in the spirit is imminent. As a young girl, Kathleen craved her mother’s attention but she never found any affection in her mannerisms, words, or actions. This lack of a mother’s pure love was, however, the least of her worries. She was molested by those who should have helped shape her into the best possible version of a human being. The impact of this abuse that she suffered as a child created a wall around her heart; it led to many years of bad choices and a lonely existence. Slowly but surely, she found a way back to her soul. This memoir is not a victim’s tale of the world’s unfairness, rather it is a fighter’s tale of intentional self-healing.
Years later, repressed memories would be explained to me as “emotional grenades.” It was only a matter of time before something snagged a pin and one of them detonated, blowing me to smithereens.

Kathleen Rose Morgan’s writing is truly remarkable. Through their words, they were able to capture the essence of their life experiences in a way that was both compelling and deeply moving. What I love most about the author’s writing is their ability to be honest and vulnerable about their life experiences. She doesn’t shy away from the difficult moments or the mistakes they’ve made along the way. Her willingness to be so open and honest about their life is what makes their memoir such a powerful read.
Although there may be skeptics who find it hard to believe in her work with Shamans and other energy workers, these chapters played a crucial role in filling the gaps in her life. Hence, even the most cynical readers might still find solace in discovering a sense of closure, irrespective of the approaches taken to attain it.
Instead of demanding justice, she chose to protect The Priests instead of me. “Sometimes bad things happen, but you must forget about it. Just do not think about it, and it will go away.

Throughout the book, Kathleen takes the reader on a journey of self-discovery and healing. She shares her experiences with Reiki, Medium, and the power of speaking her truth, all of which have helped her overcome the obstacles in her life and become the person she is today. What I loved most about this book is how open and honest Kathleen is about her experiences. She doesn’t hold back, and her vulnerability makes this memoir so powerful. Her words show that it’s possible to rise above even the most difficult circumstances and become the person you were always meant to be. Apart from her glowing resilience, this memoir also highlights quite a few pivotal historical incidents – good and bad. As she was one of the witnesses of 9/11, her narration of the people, emotions, pain, and grief is significant.
Things were altered in a way that I could not yet fully define. I felt different in many ways. I viewed my past as an open wound that needed to be cleansed and covered to heal the infection of trauma.
