Top Priority Alert!

If you have read my first post, you must be aware that as soon as I plan to go somewhere, I go straight to my “must find a perfect outfit” mode. My priority, therefore, is to know about a plan well in advance. However, this last Friday, this was not meant to be. I received a call from a friend that we (he, his girlfriend, and me) are going out in two hours. Needless to say, I was in a panic. I didn’t know whether I should wear a dress or a pair of shorts or a skirt or jeans.
I decided that I would wear my yellow dress. It is cute, vibrant, and fun; perfect for a night with friends. To my dismay and embarrassment, this perfect selection needed a wash πŸ™ How could I hang a dirty dress like that. Well, I didn’t have time to find the answer at that time. So, I looked inside my wardrobe for another dress but realized that I did not wish to wear a dress anymore.
With a loss of desire to wear a dress, I turned my attention towards skirts. Finally, I decided on a skirt that has the most adorable fringes on it. When I dance, they move and create an illusion that I am moving better than I actually am πŸ˜‰ Anyway, I could not decide on a top to go with it. I tried a crop top which looked hideous with this skirt. I tried several others but nothing made the cut. And, you guessed it, I dropped the idea of wearing a skirt, as well.
Now, I turned towards my humble selection of shorts, which has become a very short collection — thanks to my beer belly (#very angry). I selected a pair of black shorts and started looking for a top to make it look stylish and chic. This search made me realize that my wardrobe is in a desperate need of tops. It’s not that I do not have tops; I have plenty of those. The problem is in the department of variety. I must find a diverse collection,Β or all my bottom-wear collection would be wasted πŸ™ Anyway, a golden top of #ForeverNew came to the rescue. I accessorized the attire with a gold and black long neck piece, dangling earrings, a golden sparkling bracelet, and a pair of strappy block heels. Here is a picture of the look:

And my hunt for a diverse collection of tops has begun πŸ™‚ Wish me luck and share your own fashion crisis stories in the comments <3
