Sometimes, when I am deep in my thoughts, I wonder, did the Almighty wished for us, humans, to walk in the fog of uncertainty or he wished to challenge us to find our way out of this fog? My response varies from time to time. Occasionally, I feel that our creator knows us inside and out, so, naturally, he knows our capabilities; therefore, he knows which of us have the potential of seeking wisdom beyond what normal humans can see or feel. In this case, did he throw rest of the crowd just to become obstacles in the path of these extraordinary people, or did he want this other population to learn something from these enlightened men and women? I choose to believe that it is the second option. However, then why go throw this learning curve at all? Why would he want to create the world, place humans and animals in it, and grant us a free will? He could have simply enjoyed in his own home and be content with his own routine. Probably, he wished to explore beyond what he already knew, and so he created the world, placed us all here, and began observing the pearls of wisdom, we could collect. Of course, most of us have not been doing a wonderful task at that. If I am as wise as the god, then I would not be creating a significant amount of living things for my entertainment. Then, why does he keep the rest of the herd alive on the earth. If they are not bringing any good in the world, then why not get rid of them. In fact, with an exponential increase in the evil in the last few years, quitting on the world does not seem the worst idea (the increasing natural calamities are an evidence of his frustration, I believe). Perhaps, he knows that the toppers of his class (the world) would not have any motivation to seek anything unless there is someone to whom they could impart their wisdom on. Hmm.. that answers why we have more egoistic and arrogant people than the knowledgeable ones. However, it does not answer the existence of evil in this classroom. I have heard that the value of good exists because of the presence of evil, but when the height of evil begins threatening the core of goodness, shouldn’t our almighty interfere?

Every now and then, I come across a news that traumatizes me for a long time. I do not see the point of the world, then. I pray to the god to strengthen the distressed people; sometimes, I ask him to empower the good, so that the evil is forced to bend their knees. How can our creator look elsewhere when a soul is being struck with an immense amount of force? If I am omniscient, and I can see a good person begging for their life in front of a demon, wouldn’t I want to interfere? These thoughts scare me and shake my belief system. I guess that is the difference between me and a far-sighted person. Possibly, I am a part of the herd, who has been placed to learn something from the knowledge of these extraordinary teachers. I think, in the process, our god is trying to learn something, too. If in our suffering, pleading, tears, joy, laughter, discoveries, inventions, he must be fulfilling his purpose of creating us. Or maybe, it’s all just the way it is! Perhaps, there is no reason behind anything. Who knows what lies outside this fog of uncertainty? Can I ever emerge out of it and feel enlightened by the vast knowledge that lies beyond it? If I could, then would I come back in time to share my new found wisdom with this lost world?
